I’m David, an autodidact full-stack web developer based in the Netherlands. I’ve been technically active on the web for the last 8 years, mainly focussing on e-commerce and full stack solutions. Anything from large (inter)national webshops to smaller start-ups and web apps.
I find learning one of the most important skill in life and thereby I strongly believe that anything can be learned given enough time and motivation. Keeping my favorite principles(KISS & DRY) in mind when I write code, I also love to teach and pass on my knowledge and experience.
The balance between working hard and having a joyfull and pleasant life is important to me. Thats why I like to have many hobbies and interests, and keeping a positive balance between work and my spare time whenever possible.

After some time working as an intern I gradually got more challenging projects and gained experience, these days I mainly build custom full stack Laravel and Jamstack applications.

I’m currently working as a full stack / lead developer for a SME in the Netherlands. Here I am responsible for the entire tech stack, build new features for our custom order processing system, connected webshop(s) and smaller sites. I also keep my team motivated and try to teach them so we can all grow.
